Advent and Christmas Day Services at Paarl Methodist Church

I can't believe another year is nearly over! This coming Sunday (21 November) marks the end of the liturgical year. On 28 November we begin the season of Advent as we prepare for Christmas.

28 November - Advent 1 - Hope

Read | Think | Pray
5 December - Advent 2 - Peace
12 December - Advent 3 - Joy
19 December - Advent 4 - Love
25 December - Christmas Day Service 8am
26 December - Contemplative Service with Communion 9am

Just trying to keep up appearances!

I'm using a series plan by the United Methodist Church's General Board of Discipleship; but as per my style - and my church's style I will be adapting it freely.

This Sunday we have a Sunday School Play - and communion - and I'll slip a message about hope in there somewhere - or maybe the whole service will be a 'word picture'.
